"...implementação de 41 hectares de vinha e recuperação de vinhas velhas, onde constam castas de relevo nacional e internacional..."

Taking into account the current scenario of the wine world, Quinta Vale de Fornos felt the need to evolve from traditional farm wines, and adapt them to new markets such as Brazil, Canada, China and USA. In Europe we are present in several markets such as Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Poland, and currently export is one of the focuses of Quinta Vale de Fornos.

It created a project to revitalize the Fifth Ovens Valley on the leadership of Engineer José Gaspar, passing in the first instance for the implementation of 41 hectares of vineyards and recovery of old vines, which contains national and international relief varieties such as Fernão Pires, Verdelho, Arinto, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc in white varieties, and Touriga Nacional, Sousão, Touriga Franca, Castelao, Berry, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo and Alicante Bouchet for paints.

In a second phase of the project of Quinta Vale de Fornos was investing in a skilled and dedicated team to create innovative wines and unique view of the oenological requirements of today, and the concern to maintain the traces and records of their origin, and the main ambition of the Monteiro family.
